From Prophet to Profit
As The Everyday Futurist, I have accurately forecast high-impact trends over the past decades, such as the effects of the Graying of America (and the Graying of Business and the Workforce in particular). Nicknamed the Velvet Whip and Age Maven when I was developing my futurist and visionary leadership skills in the corporate world, I led the call for private retirement planning for high-net-worth clients and firms and trained, educated, and led thousands in new ways of doing business.
Many of my clients seek me out as their private Oracle and their expert confidante on call. Others come to take their work and life to the next level—going from good to Great—so they can create a future that matters, gaining mastery in their lives, meaning in their work, and making a difference.
My methods as an “intrapreneur” brought meaning and collaboration as well as profit to the people I worked with and served. In 1988, I started the Future Works Institute precisely to have a greater impact on the future of individuals and groups who could themselves have a greater impact on the world.
